Cross Cultural Artist Exchange

3 Ring Circus seeks to further the career options and educational opportunities for its participating artists by providing artists with an opportunity to live and work in another area of the United States.

This program fulfills the goal of 3 Ring Circus to showcase the City of New Orleans as one of the most creative and inspirational cities in the United States by inviting artists from other cities to live and work here.

Cross-cultural artist exchanges will be offered once per year initially, for a 3-week period. Eventually, 3 Ring Circus hopes to expand this program to offer more frequent exchanges for longer periods of time.

3 Ring Circus will secure housing, gallery contacts and speaking engagements for artists in the program. The exchange will result in an exhibition of participating artists that will travel to all cities involved in the exchange.

Artists will apply for the exchange program and be accepted on a merit-based process. The artist exchange is funded by grants and individual support. We hope to start his program in the Summer of 2005.
